Our Story
Kevin Yuhui | Founder of YUHE Design
From product design to product innovation, Kevin has spent over two decades.
In 2001, he entered the fitness equipment industry, starting with sample making and progressing through product design, structural optimization, packaging, cost analysis, and manufacturing execution—completing the entire journey from concept to mass production. He later applied his methodology to cross-industry R&D in medical care products, hunting gear, and other fields, developing his own closed-loop process: User Needs → Design → Engineering Optimization → Sample Validation → Manufacturing Realization.
In 2017, he began offering independent services in product innovation and engineering implementation to clients. In 2021, he founded Wuhan Yuhe Design Co., Ltd., with the goal of building an integrated platform that connects Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing—helping global clients turn their ideas into market-ready, best-selling products.

Unlike most equipment companies that started as manufacturers and added design later, YHFITNESS took the opposite path. Our founder began his career on the shop floor — fabricating samples, analyzing costs, and understanding the full production process. Over two decades, that hands-on knowledge evolved into a design-first philosophy that still guides every project.

Our Story: Designed First, Built to Last
YH Fitness did not start as a trading company looking for products to sell. It started as a design company that kept getting asked one question: “Can you build this for us?”
It Began With Design
Our parent company, Wuhan YuHe Design, has spent over two decades in industrial product development — designing products for manufacturers across China before bringing that experience into the fitness industry. When we entered the fitness equipment market, we saw an industry full of copies: the same racks, the same benches, the same compromises, differentiated only by price.
We believed gym equipment deserved better. A rack is not just steel tubes — it is the structure your members trust with their heaviest lifts. A storage system is not just hooks — it is the first thing a gym owner sees every morning. So we started designing equipment the way product designers design anything: from the user’s experience backward.
From Design Studio to Manufacturer
Designs on paper are easy; designs that survive daily commercial use are not. That is why we built our own manufacturing capability. Today, YH Fitness controls the full path — industrial design, engineering, sheet-metal fabrication, welding, and powder coating — under one system. When a client asks for a custom color, a reinforced joint, or an entirely new product, we do not outsource the answer. We build it.
